There are many types of roof differentiated based upon the size, shape and uses. Some of the types of roof are listed below,

The roof is a top covering of the building which protects it from various climatic condition example rain sunlight. etc

Types of roofs basically e depends upon materials used for the construction of roofs.

Nowadays concrete sheets are used to make an economical roof for labor houses.

Following are some types of roofs:

Gable roof Hip Mansard roof Flat roof Butterfly roof Gambrel roof Dormer roof M Shaped Dutch Shed roof

Asphalt shingles are most commonly used because it is economical and long-lasting.

Common root type is

In multistorey building we generally use Flat roof

And in godown and other industries building, we mostly use a sloped roof.
