Is there any permissible percentage of honeycombing in concrete in terms of surface area?

Hello Mr. Monther Alfitouri,

Honeycomb is not permissible even in any percentages in concrete where the reinforcement is exposed. 

A study states that - 5% of honeycomb can reduce 30% of the concrete strength.

However, honeycombing is not a severe issue for a small surface area subjected to the reinforcement not exposed.
