Hi,

Kadappa stone of 2″ ( 50.8mm ) having its density in the range of 5.0 to 5.4 kg/cm^3 with a water absorption ratio of less than 2%.

After calculation, you may found that at 6-meter height, it is not able to bear the weight of a 500-liter water tank.

Thus, support in the middle must be provided for stability and to increase the bearing strength of kadapa so that it lasts for a long duration.

Better to lay some treated 150 x 50 pine joists (laid flat) to help spread the load to your block support walls.

Hi, Kadapa shows brittle in property and does not have any elastic nature

It is used only for normal works and not to resist a high load for a long duration.

If possible avoid Kadapa and use a reinforced concrete slab for placing of the water tank. If not possible, then provide 3 walls at a distance of two feet each.

As the height increases the gravity applied on water increases which increases the weight of water. 10 for proper durability, a safe stand must be constructed.
